Our Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) provides you with a line of credit based on a percentage of the equity in your home. Often times the interest may be tax deductible, but you should consult your tax advisor to be sure this applies to you.

1. Calcasieu Teachers & Employees Credit Union will pay all closing costs if member borrows a minimum of $10,000 on the initial advance and maintains the loan for a minimum of 12 months. If member pays loan off less than the 12 months, the member will be responsible for all the original closing costs (as disclosed at account opening). The Credit Union will only pay the closing costs for a home equity line of credit one time per borrower per dwelling.
